JOB POSTING: Theater Production Coordinator
Incite Shakespeare Company (ISC) seeks a part-time Theater Production Coordinator to work on a flexible schedule with year-round responsibilities, starting January 1, 2026.
This position will require an indeterminate number of hours and workload, at variable times of the year, particularly focused in the first half of the year
About ISC
ISC is a growing 10-year-old Santa Fe theater company focused on Shakespeare with multiple performance programs scheduled throughout the year: 1) Full-scale productions (currently two) typically presented mid-summer; 2) Our BAR(d) presentations (currently four and growing), play readings held in a local bar “with a script in one hand and a drink in the other”; 3) A new in-theater play-reading festival of Shakespeare-adjacent scripts presented in January.
All our work stems from our commitment to building ensembles both within our company and in our community. We strive to develop productions that take Shakespeare’s plays off the pedestal and explore their resonance in our contemporary times. We examine power, play with gender, and experiment with process. We create productions that provoke complex thoughts and deep feelings. We aim to present Shakespeare’s work as we experience it: exciting, alive, edgy, and full of beauty, imagination, change, contradiction, and complexity. We want our whole community, from actors to audiences, from designers to students, to feel energized by Shakespeare.
